Trans Kitty was inspired by a co-workers cat. I’m not sure how the conversation started. I may have asked if she had pets. I may have been talking about the all cow strip club I designed. Regardless, she told me she had a transgender tabby cat, and asked if I could create a picture for her.
I immediately said yes! Not only do I love making kitties, but I had been wanting to get some designs up on my site for Pride Month, and this would fit right in.
After a few days of sketching and searching the web for pictures of cat balls, cat boobs, and kitty titties, I had a good idea of what I wanted the finished project to look like.
Then came the ultimate plot twist: I found out the kitty’s name is Fish. Between his name and his identity crisis, he isn't just navigating his gender—he's questioning his entire species. Ultimately, Trans Kitty became a playful tribute to a cat who is delightfully, chronically misidentified.
